Friendship Buddy Program
Friendship Buddies Program
The Friendship Buddies program is designed to build a strong, inclusive school community where students feel valued, supported, and connected. By pairing older and younger students, the program encourages mentorship, empathy, and mutual respect.
The program provides opportunities to practice Catholic values such as kindness, service, and respect in daily interactions. Through shared prayer, Mass attendance, and religious activities, students grow in their faith together. Furthermore, regular interactions and shared activities boost school spirit and a sense of community.
Older students serve as positive role models, demonstrating good behavior, study habits, and faith practices. Younger students gain a reliable support system, feeling more comfortable and confident in their school environment.
Students are thoughtfully paired based on interests, personalities, and needs to ensure a positive experience for both buddies. Buddies meet regularly for activities such as reading together, playing games, or participating in art projects. Additionally, they attend mass together weekly.
The Friendship Buddies program at All Hallows Academy not only enhances the school community but also reinforces the values of faith, compassion, and service, creating a nurturing and supportive environment for all students.
