Middle School Technology Electives

All Hallows Academy, in collaboration with codeCampus, offers a unique and innovative technology program for students in grades 6-8.  We are dedicated to providing exceptional opportunities for students to immerse themselves in STEAM topics. Through this partnership, we are proud to offer the following distinctive programs:

Coding 

Students will use block and text-based computer science languages to code computer games, apps, and animations.

LEGO Robotics 

Students will team up to build sophisticated robots using the LEGO Prime and Essentials platforms and then have their creations compete in various challenges.

Digital Art & Design 

From learning to create digital paintings and animations to using professional apps such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Spark to edit photography and art, students will engage with the fundamental principles and uses of modern digital art.

LEGO Engineering 

Students will use LEGOs to build incredible works of art, architecture, and engineering. They will create everything from functional catapults and ziplines to recreations of Bauhaus modern art and scale models of their favorite fictional characters.

Anime Character Design

Harnessing older students' enthusiasm for the anime genre, they will learn digital drawing techniques to practice concepts such as face and feature design, figure drawing, dynamic pose, and more. Can be run with tablets/styluses or pen and paper.
