Curriculum Overview

We are committed to supporting the high achievement of all students. Our dedicated faculty utilize research-based teaching methodologies to engage all learners and differentiate instruction to meet the needs of our diverse learners. Small group and 1:1 instruction is provided regularly to support student achievement.

Curriculum Overview
Religion	Pray daily, weekly Mass, service learning and Outreach Program, class retreats
Math	Leveled math classes to support all learners, IXL, Freckle Math
Science	Science lab for hands-on learning including experiments.7th grade participates in the Greater San Diego Science/Engineering Fair
Literature/Writing	Novel Studies, Accelerated Reading, Step Up to Writing focusing on 3 different genres of writing
Social Studies	Project-based learning
Technology	Each student issued a Macbook for the entire school year.
Spanish	Two times per week; Spanish novel studies offered for fluent speakers
Physical Education	Two times per week
Electives	Students take 6 electives each year, selecting from a variety of options
Overnight Experiences	6th Grade Science Camp7th/8th Grade Trip to Washington D.C.
